Presentations at the 23rd Session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-23)
The 23rd Session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-23) took place from 15 to 18 November 2016, at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, Manila, Philippines.

APRSAF-23 was jointly organized by the Department of Science and Technology of the Philippines (DOST), the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines (DFA), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

With the theme "Building a Future through Space Science, Technology and Innovation", APRSAF-23 brought together leading space sector in the region as well as the related parties and relevant entities that have been actively participated in, or interested in, space efforts and regional collaborations. The goal of the meeting was to contribute to addressing regional socio-economic problems by further expanding the use of space technologies and its application while serving as an open and flexible forum to promote concrete cooperation.

There were four working groups which was organized in APRSAF-23: Space Applications, Space Technology, Space Environment Utilization, and Space Education. The project members were involved in the Space Applications Working Group with the presentation by the Project Leader, Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Nga, titled Modelling Dengue disease with climate variables using geospatial data for Vietnam and Philippines”. The presentation has introduced the data and methods used in the analysis and preliminary results of the spatial analysis and time-series modelling.
